Work Visa
Work Visa
A sponsored work visa will be right for you if you are:
- Currently, or are soon to be employed.
- Under 50 years of age for temporary visas, or under 45 years of age if you are staying permanently.
- Hold a position on the relevant skilled occupations list.
- Meet the skills and qualifications requirements of that position.
- Meet the English, character, and medical requirements.
Skilled Independent Visa
Skilled Independent Visa
To successfully apply for a skilled independent visa, you will need to score above a certain number of points in the general skilled migration points test. The exact amount of points you’ll need can vary, but we’ll be able to give you a good idea of where you stand.
You’ll score more points towards a skilled independent visa if you:
- Have extensive work experience, especially if at least 1 year of that experience is in Australia
- Are under 45 years of age
- Speak English at a proficient level, or better. This means a IELTS score of 7+ in each band, or equivalent.
- Have a recognised qualification. If your qualification is from Australia, that’s even better.
- Have a partner who is under 50, and speaks English at a competent level or higher.
Business & Investment Visa
Business & Investment Visa
There are four visa streams under the Business Innovation and Investment Program.
The Business Innovation and Investment Program includes the following:
- The Business Innovation Stream — Individuals must pass a points test, have a successful business career with a business turnover of at least AUD 750,000, and have net assets of AUD 1.25 million. They must also obtain and maintain substantial ownership and management of an Australian business and reside in the country for at least one year.
- The Investor Stream — Individuals must pass a points test, commit AUD 2.5 million into a complying Australian-managed investment fund for the duration of the provisional visa validity, and reside in the country for at least two years.
- The Significant Investor Stream — Individuals must commit at least AUD 5 million into a complying Australian-managed investment fund for the duration of the provisional visa validity and reside in the country for an average of 40 days a year for primary visa holders.
- The Entrepreneur Stream — Individuals must receive endorsement by a state or territory government and reside in the country for at least two years.
Student Visa
Student Visa
Student visas allow you to stay and study in Australia for up to five years, depending on the length of your course. You will also be able to work for 20 hours a week while studying, and full-time when your course is not in session.
You can use a student visa to study a professional course of choice that will advance your career, or to study English and improve your ability to apply for other visas. If you’re looking to stay in Australia permanently once your study is complete, we can help you get there.
Graduate Visa
Graduate Visa
A graduate visa will be right for you if you have a recently graduated from a professional course in Australia, and your qualification is either:
- A higher education degree; or
- Related to an occupation on the skilled occupation list.
As well as this, you’ll also need to:
- Currently hold an eligible student visa; and
- Be under 50 years of age.
